The product has advantages such as low gelling temperature, high transparency, no precipitation, low melting temperature, ease of operation, and stable performance. It can be used in biological culture media, immobilized enzyme carriers, encapsulating materials for bacteria, and carriers for some biochemical substances. It can also be used as a thickener, gelling agent, suspending agent, emulsifier, stabilizer, and preservative.
